Something Beautiful

Something Beautiful Tracks

  1. He Touched Me

    Shackled by a heavy burden,
    ’Neath a load of guilt and shame—
    Then the hand of Jesus touched me,
    And now I am no longer the same!

    He touched me
    Oh, He touched me!
    And oh, the joy that floods my soul!
    Something happened and now I know,
    He touched me
    And made me whole.>

    Since I met this blessed Savior,
    Since He cleansed and made me whole,
    I will never cease to praise Him;
    I’ll shout it while eternity rolls!

    He touched me
    Oh, He touched me!
    And oh, the joy that floods my soul!
    Something happened and now I know,
    He touched me
    And made me whole.

  2. It's Beginning To Rain (featuring Bill Gaither)

    The turtledove is singing its sweet song of mourning;
    The leaves on the trees turn their silver cups to the sky.
    The silent clouds above are beginning to gather;
    The barren land is thirsty, and so am I.

    It’s beginning to rain—
    Hear the voice of the Father,
    Saying, “Whosoever will
    Come drink of this water;
    I have promised to pour My Spirit out
    On your sons and your daughters.
    If you’re thirsty and dry,
    Look up to the sky—
    It’s beginning to rain.”

    The young man’s eyes start to shine as he tells of his vision;
    The old understand what he sees for they’ve dreamed their dreams.
    With the thrill of being alive, they reach for each other,
    And they dance in the rain with the joy of the things that they’ve seen.

    At the first drop of rain that you hear, throw open the windows;
    Go call all your children together and throw wide the door!
    When the rains of the Spirit are falling, fill every vessel,
    For he who drinks his fill will thirst no more.

  3. Then Came The Morning

    They all walked away,
    Nothing to say;
    They’d just lost their dearest friend.
    All that He said,
    Now He was dead;
    So this was the way it would end.

    The dreams they had dreamed
    Were not what they seemed
    Now that He was dead and gone.
    The garden, the jail,
    The hammer, the nails—
    How could a night be so long?

    The angels, the star,
    The kings from afar,
    The wedding, the water, the wine—
    And now it was done;
    They’d taken her son
    Wasted before His time.

    She knew it was true.
    She’d watched Him die, too.
    She’d heard them call Him “just a man.”
    But deep in her heart,
    She knew from the start
    Somehow her Son would live again.

    Then came the morning!
    Night turned into day;
    The stone was rolled away;
    Hope rose with the dawn.
    Then came the morning!
    Shadows vanished before the sun;
    Death had lost and life had won,
    For morning had come.

  4. Something Beautiful

    If there ever were dreams
    That were lofty and noble,
    They were my dreams at the start;
    And the hopes for life’s best
    Were the hopes that I harbored
    Down deep in my heart;
    But my dreams turned to ashes,
    My castles all crumbled,
    My fortune turned to loss,
    So I wrapped it all
    In the rags of my life,
    And laid it at the cross!

    Something beautiful, something good—
    All my confusion He understood;
    All I had to offer Him
    Was brokenness and strife,
    But He made something beautiful of my life.

  5. Not By Might, Not By Power

    It’s not by might,
    Not by power,
    But by my Spirit,
    Saith the Lord.

    It’s not by might,
    Not by power,
    But by my Spirit,
    Saith the Lord.

    You may pressure men and sway them to your view;
    Your words may make them do just what you want them to.
    You may make your money talk and thrown your weight around,
    But without the Spirit of Jesus you’re just clanging sound!

    You may feel so small, so powerless and weak;
    Seem so insignificant you barely dare to speak.
    You may lack self-confidence and status in this life,
    But God will use the simple truth to confound all the wise!

    You may have bombs enough to blow up all the earth;
    Arm a million volunteers and keep them on alert.
    You may have the power and might to make fear and quake,
    But if you lack what God demands you’ve made one big mistake!

  6. Feeling At Home In The Presence Of Jesus

    Feelin’ at home in the presence of Jesus,
    Hearing Him call me His own,
    Just feelin’ at home,
    Feelin’ at home.
    Putting my feet right under His table,
    Knowing I won’t be alone,
    Just feelin’ at home,
    Feelin’ at home.

    Feelin’ at home in the presence of Jesus,
    Needed and happy and free,
    Just feelin’ at home,
    Feelin’ at home.
    Feelin’ accepted and loved and forgiven,
    A part of His warm family,
    Just feelin’ at home,
    Feelin’ at home.

    You couldn’t have told me I’d find what I found:
    Contentment and peace from above;
    Feelin’ at home in the presence of Jesus,
    Laying way back in His love.
    Warming myself by the fires of His Spirit,
    Camping right close to His throne,
    Just feelin’ at home,
    Feelin’ at home.

  7. Gaither Medley (featuring Gloria Gaither)

    Loving God, Loving Each Other

    They pushed back from the table
    To listen to His words,
    His secret plan before He had to go—
    “It’s not complicated;
    Don’t need a lot of rules,
    This is all you’ll need to know—

    “It’s loving God, loving each other,
    Making music with my friends;
    Loving God, loving each other
    And the story never ends.”

    We tend to make it harder,
    Build steeples out of stone,
    Fill books with explanations of the way;
    But if we’d stop and listen
    And break a little bread
    We would hear the Master say—

    The Family of God

    You will notice we say “brother” and “sister” ’round here;
    It’s because we’re a family and these folks are so near.
    When one has a heartache we all share the tears,
    And rejoice in each victory in this family so dear.

    I’m so glad I’m a part of the of God!
    I’ve been washed in the fountain,
    Cleansed by His blood.
    Joint heirs with Jesus as we travel this sod,
    For I’m part of the family,
    The family of God.

    From the door of an orphanage to the house of the King,
    No longer an outcast; a new song I sing.
    From rags unto riches, from the weak to the strong,
    I’m not worthy to be here, but praise God, I belong!

    I’m so glad I’m a part of the family of God!
    I’ve been washed in the fountain,
    Cleansed by His blood.
    Joint heirs with Jesus as we travel this sod,
    For I’m part of the family,
    The family of God.

    I Am Loved

    All I had to bring were imperfections;
    There was so much more I lacked than I possessed.
    I could hardly comprehend His offer:
    I’d bring what I had, He’d bring the rest.

    I said, “If You knew, You wouldn’t want me;
    My scars are hidden by this face I wear.”
    He said, “My child, My scars go deeper;
    It was love for you that put them there.”

    Forgiven—I repeat it—I’m forgiven!
    Clean before my Lord I freely stand.
    Forgiven, I can dare forgive my brother;
    Forgiven, I reach out to take your hand.

    I am loved! I am loved!
    I can risk loving you,
    For the One who knows me best loves me most.
    I am loved, you are loved,
    Won’t you please take my hand?
    We are free to love each other, we are loved.

    Jesus, We Just Want To Thank You

Jesus we just want to thank You,
    Jesus we just want to thank You,
    Jesus we just want to thank You,
    Thank You for being so good.

    Jesus we just want to praise You,
    Jesus we just want to praise You,
    Jesus we just want to praise You,
    Praise You for being so good.

    Jesus we just want to tell You,
    Jesus we just want to tell You,
    Jesus we just want to tell You,
    We love You for being so good.

    Savior we just want to serve You,
    Savior we just want to serve You,
    Savior we just want to serve You,
    Serve You for being so good.

    Jesus we know You are coming,
    Jesus we know You are coming,
    Jesus we know You are coming,
    Take us to live in Your home.

    Let’s Just Praise the Lord

    We’d like to thank you for your kindness; we thank you for your love.
    We’ve been in heav’nly places, felt blessings from above.
    We’ve been sharing all the good things the fam’ly can afford;
    Let’s just turn our praise t’ward heaven and praise the Lord.

    Let’s just praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!
    Let’s just lift our hands to heaven and praise the Lord!
    Let’s just praise the Lord, praise the Lord—
    Let’s just lift our hands t’ward heaven and praise the Lord!

    Just the precious name of Jesus is worthy of our praise;
    Let us bow our knees before Him, our hands to heaven raise.
    When He comes in clouds of glory, with Him we’ll ever reign;
    We’ll just lift our happy voices, and praise His name!

    Let’s just praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!
    Let’s just lift our hands to heaven and praise the Lord!
    Let’s just praise the Lord, praise the Lord—
    Let’s just lift our hands t’ward heaven and praise the Lord!

  8. I Just Feel Like Something Good Is About To Happen

    I just feel like something good is about to happen!
    I just feel like something good is on its way!
    God has promised that He’d open all of heaven,
    And, brother, it could happen any day.
    When God’s people humble themselves and call on Jesus,
    And they look to heaven expecting as they pray,
    I just feel like something good is about to happen,
    And, brother, this could be that very day!

    I have learned in all that happens just to praise Him,
    For I know He’s working all things for my good;
    Ev’ry tear I shed is worth all the investment,
    For I know He’ll see me through—He said He would.
    He has promised eye nor ear could hardly fathom
    All the things He has in store for those who pray;
    I just feel like something good is about to happen,
    And, brother, this could be that very day!

    Yes, I’ve noticed all the bad news in the paper,
    And it seems like things get bleaker ev’ry day;
    But for the child of God it makes no diff’rence,
    Because it’s bound to get better either way.
    I have never been more thrilled about tomorrow;
    Sunshine’s always bursting through the skies of gray.
    I just feel like something good is about to happen,
    And, brother, this could be that very day!

  9. The Could Be The Dawning Of That Day with Until Then

    A parade began at Calvary;
    The saints of all the ages fill its ranks.
    O’er the sands of time they’re marching to their King’s great coronation,
    And this could be the dawning of that day!

    This could be the dawning of that grand and glorious day,
    When the face of Jesus we behold!
    Dreams and hopes of all the ages are waiting His returning,
    And this could be the dawning of that day!

    All The Saints are getting restless
    They’re not bound by shackles forged of earthly gold.
    Since that day they knelt at Calvary they’ve been pilgrims ever wand’ring,
    Just looking for a place to rest their souls.

    Until Then:
    Until then my heart will go on singing
    Until then with joy I’ll carry on

  10. I Believe, Help Thou My Unbelief

    CHORUS

    I believe; help Thou my unbelief.

I take the finite risk

    Of trusting as a child.

I believe; help Thou my unbelief

    I walk into the unknown,

    Trusting all the while.

I long so much to feel the warmth

    That others seem to know,

    But should I never feel a thing,

I claim Him even so.

    I believe; help Thou my unbelief.

    I walk into the unknown

    Trusting all the while.

    I walk into the unknown, trusting.....

  11. Get All Excited with I'm His Witness

    Get all excited go tell ev'rybody that
    Jesus Christ is King.
    I said get all excited go tell ev'rybody that
    Jesus Christ is King.
    I said get all excited go tell ev'rybody that
    Jesus Christ is King.
    Jesus Christ is still the King of kings –
    King of kings.

    You talk about people you talk about things
    That really aren't important at all.
    You talk about weather you talk about problems
    We have here at home and abroad.
    But friend I'm excited
    About a solution for the world.
    I'm a-gonna shout and sing;
    It's Jesus Christ is still the King of kings –
    King of kings.

  12. Because He Lives

    God sent His Son; they called Him Jesus.
    He came to love, heal and forgive—
    He bled and died to buy my pardon;
    An empty grave is there to prove my Savior lives.

    Because He lives, I can face tomorrow
    Because He lives, all fear is gone;
    Because I know He holds the future,
    And life is worth the living just because He lives.

    How sweet to hold our newborn baby
    And feel the pride and joy he gives;
    But greater still the calm assurance,
    This child can face uncertain days because He lives.

    And then one day I’ll cross that river;
    I’ll fight life’s final war with pain—
    And then as death gives way to victory,
    I’ll see the lights of glory and I’ll know He reigns.
